I am bringing the Latino Expo to the Westchester County Center, November 11 &12, 2006. We have produced 13 Latino Expos since 2000. Our most recent was the 6th annual in Hartford, CT. We had 12,000 people attend in 10 hours! This will be our 5th expo at the Westchester County Center.

The focus of the expo is business, jobs, education and health care. The target market is the emerging middle class Latino family. The expo runs from 12 Noon - 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

This is the only expo of it's kind in New England. We bring together families and share information and resources, in many cases, they may not know they need/missing.

At each event we have Latinos/Hispanics who are looking to be first time home buyers or are ready to 'buy up' in the housing market. We have real estate companies at every event. The RE companies in Hartford consistantly re-sign up based on the business from the previous year. One RE in White Plains area says she gets business "months after ("sometimes it lasts all year") each event. There are banks and mortgage companies from the
communities surrounding each event. This is a middle and upper middle class Hispanic family utilizing our event.

Each year the event grows larger and continues to bring the Hispanic community together and exposes them to all the positive resources we organize and makes the community stronger and healthier. In 2001, the SBA District office in CT named us the "Minority Small Business Advocates of the Year".
