Cosmopolitan en Espanol Magazine Activate Beauty
Cosmopolitan en Español announced its year-long alliance with Activate Beauty and Roselyn Sanchez, and launch of a new U.S. Hispanic subscription campaign, set to roll out in January2006.
In addition to promotions and special events, the new campaign will add momentum to Cosmopolitan en Español’s already increasing circulation base of 115,000 and introduce readers to Activate Beauty’s ACTIVATE line of hair care products.
The alliance will launch with a TV spot scheduled to air nationally on Univision Networks featuring Roselyn Sanchez, the multi-talented television and film star. Roselyn, who is also the spokesperson for Activate beauty, a manufacturer and distributor of hair care products focused on the specific hair care needs of Hispanic women, will be also featured on a future cover issue of Cosmopolitan en Español. The subscription campaign will provide new subscribers with complimentary travel size samples of salon-quality ACTIVATE shampoo and conditioner.
“We are thrilled to have Activate Beauty and Roselyn Sanchez on board with Cosmopolitan en Español,” said Marines Duarte, Publisher, Cosmopolitan en Español. “Our magazine is the essential guide for Hispanic women 18-34 and knowing that a product such as Activate Beauty and a distinguished figure such as Roselyn Sanchez are in support of our brand, reinforces the loyalty and commitment we will always have for all Hispanic women.”
“The Cosmo girl is like the Activate girl: fun, modern, always in style and self confident and always looking for ways to look her best and that is why Cosmopolitan en Español and ACTIVATE make perfect partners,” explained Activate Beauty’s President and CEO, Jacqueline Dascal Chariff. “Through this partnership, the Cosmo Girl will now have the opportunity to achieve the glorious salon-quality hair to match her Cosmo attitude without breaking the bank.”
