LATINA Style Magazine Selects U.S. Bank as One of the Top 50 Places for Latinas to Work.

HISPANIC WIRE BUSINESS WIRE - U.S. Bank is one of the top 50 best places for Latinas to work in the United States according to a 2005 listing by LATINA Style magazine. The list will be published in the August 2005 issue of LATINA Style.

LATINA Style credited U.S. Bank for its demonstrated commitment to diversity, hiring and promoting Latinas at all levels of the organization, its mentorship program and workplace benefits as factors leading to the company's inclusion on the list.

"U.S. Bank's percentage of Latina employees and number of senior executive level and executive level vice presidents was larger than some for companies comparable in size," said Robert Bard, president and publisher of LATINA Style Magazine.

Bard also cited U.S. Bank's recruitment efforts, specifically in the Hispanic segment, diversity website postings and partnerships with national Hispanic organizations as reasons for U.S. Bank's achievement, as well as its flexible work options, generous scholarships and focus on the advancement of female employees through its mentorship and emerging leaders programs.

LATINA Style will distribute the report to Hispanic professional and civic organizations, national women's organizations, more than 2,000 colleges and universities, all members of the United States Congress, the White House and members of the Cabinet. It will honor all of the 50 best companies at the LATINA Style Diversity Best Practices Conference and Awards Ceremony held in Washington, D.C. on Feb. 2, 2006.
