Deportes - The family of Roberto Clemente will join Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling and best-selling author Jonathan Eig for a Voices of the Game event at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

The program will follow the dedication of the historic Character and Courage statue at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Museum's lobby. The statue depicts Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente, Lou Gehrig and Jackie Robinson as symbols of character and courage, reflecting the achievements of the three Hall of Famers as beacons of those characteristics.

Schilling, Roberto Clemente's sons Luis and Roberto Jr., and Eig, whose books on Gehrig and Robinson captured their selfless spirit, will discuss the statue and the inspirational lives of Gehrig, Robinson and Clemente during the Voices of the Game event.

A ticket is required for this event and costs $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Members may reserve tickets immediately, and any remaining tickets will be made available to non-members the day of the event at the Membership and Museum Services Desk, located in the Museum (Museum admission is still required for any non-members interested in attending).

Tickets can be reserved by calling the Membership Department at 607-547-0397.
