Lori Ann Kim in Latino Style Magazine New York |
The words “Martial actress” can be used to sum up this upcoming actress from Korea. She has made an instant splash just a year in the business. She is fearless and attacks all roles with the same gusto she does Ji-Jitsu. She is multi-lingual and just as expressive on screen.
She did a lot of theatre for R-Way productions in recreations like “Ghost” but it was her film debut as the lead actor, Riko Cain in “Kill em’ Off” for FBB Films that made the film festival runs in Philadelphia. It was her fighting skills and facial expressions which told the story. In her black cat suit she kills off the bad guys and faces a tattooed woman warrior in the film’s climatic scene.
This got the attention of the people who are producing a DVD parody of Kung fu films called “Kung Fu and Titties”. Lori will play Amanda, the Asian stereotype in this film. Also Kim has been very open-minded by participating in various promos topless with strategic covering of the nipples for the film. It promises to be quite a project.
Lori looks to the future, anxious to spread her acting wings to future projects. As the Asian-American community looks to a young star in the mold of a Michelle Yeoh, Lori is working hard to fulfill her promise as a female action hero with acting skills to match.
Lori Ann Kim will be appearing in Latino y Style Magazine, New York edition this September. Look out for her pictorial and interview. As Lori says “It’s inevitable.”
