Marketing
A weblog or blog is a web site where an individual records his
ideas, observations and opinions, inspires comments from
others and links to other web resources. The format is
flexible and its style is informal. Blogs are public and
searchable on the Internet. Blogging has revolutionized
traditional on-line communication and has a tremendous
potential to do the same in marketing.

Word of Mouth
Marketing is about the customer becoming the media. They
become your spokes person and your advertising. When people
talk about your product they give it a new kind of
credibility. Hearing someone you know extol the virtues of
another person or the benefits of a product influences us on
both a conscious and sub conscious level.

ability and lack of momentum in the sales dept. Marketing 4P's
- Product Price Place Promotion
How successful is your marketing plan? Take a look at your
marketing mix, but focus on the 4 areas discussed in
greater detail below. If you are thinking of starting,
expanding your business, or selling any product or service,
these four elements are key to your success.
Product: What product or service are you going to sell?
Define it in terms of what it does for your customer. How does
it help your customer? Be clear about the benefits you offer
and how a customer's life or work will be improved.
Price: How much are you going to charge for your
product or service? How are you going to price it to sell at
retail? How are you going to sell it at wholesale? How are you
going to charge for volume discounts? Is your price based on
your costs or your competitors
price position?
Place: Where are you going to sell this product? Are
you going to sell directly from your own company or brokers,
network marketing, wholesaler, retailer, direct mail, catalog
or the Internet?
Promotion: Promotion includes every aspect of
advertising, brochures, packaging, salespeople and sales
methodology. How are you going to promote, advertise and sell
this product at your location? What is your sales process from
your first contact with a prospect through to the completed
sale?
Your marketing should come from continually reviewing and
questioning the your situation and looking for ways to change
your marketing mix (product price place promotion). Often,
creative marketing often involves adding brand extensions, new
products or enhancing existing ones. It may require changes in
pricing, place of sale or promotional methods. Sometimes,
marketing requires that you delete existing products or
services, sell them at different prices, offer them in
different places or promote them differently.
If you change one of these elements to test sales or profitability.
Sometimes you have to change several at once to achieve
new results.
