SUOZZI, SPITZER, BLOOMBERG, AND FARRELL

By Profesor Martin N. Danenberg “El Quijote del GED”

When I began my GED campaign I contacted the Republicans, including the Republic National Committee. Then I switched to the Democrats including the Democratic National Committee. Nothing has happened and Howard Dean has done less to help me than Ann Wagner did. We should be taking a closer look at what politicians are doing to us. See the link for the educational article in the Long Island Press and look for a future article about the GED Roundtable in the Central Islip Public Library either in that newspaper or ahorre.com.

Tom Suozzi has been asked to quit the gubernatorial race and not “throw grenades” in the name of party unity. He is actually living out the American dream. Don’t his fellow Democrats even understand it. Also he is bringing forward competitive ideas and not throwing grenades. Suozzi has spoken about the GED in his campaign and I waiting for the Spitzer to do the same. The GED is really a big issue and campaign managers do not fully understand it and that is why they are not helping the American people enough.

Mayor Bloomberg opens up his mouth about New York getting more of the pie for security against terrorism and within days a plot is uncovered against Chicago. I knew the mayor was wrong but I did not want to open my mouth about it so quickly. Corn fields are just as important as the Big Apple. The house you live in is important.

Herman “Denny” Farrell says that lowering property taxes is not one of his priorities and quickly it was reported that Eliot Spitzer was distancing himself from the remark. Denny Farrell is entitled to his opinion just like Suozzi and Bloomberg. He may be right and he may be wrong. I think he feels we can do much more for people than just lower the property taxes and he probably is right.

In article about Tom Suozzi, he says that the Democrats are losing the “religious” vote to the Republicans. He cites his family members who feel that way too. We have Talibans all over the United States who are Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, and Asian. They are against gay marriage, abortion, and other related issues. I believe they do not fully understand family values because we have to help our family members who are gay, for example. Are we to turn our backs on family? The Suozzi elders may not even realize that the many of the people they idolized were gay or bisexual. We have been taught the truth of Rock Hudson, Tyrone Power, Burt Lancaster, and Danny Kaye for example over the years. Gays have largely come out of the closet and they must be protected by government. So gay rights needs to be discussed along with lowering taxes, education, and jobs (“common sense” values). It may or may not be time for Tom Suozzi to withdraw from the race. If he is still not gaining ground toward victory or a respectable vote, he has to take a deeper look at himself and the issues. Perhaps he will stay in the race until the end to get the word out there that he is not a quitter, hoping it will make his name better known for a second race four years from now. These are things that candidates do. If Suozzi does withdraw from the race, it should be for the good of the people of New York and not for the good of the Democratic Party. Maybe he can persuade his family members to more supportive of gay rights as he hammers home the “common sense” values that he talks about.

WE USED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT COMMUNIISM, BUT IT SEEMS WE HAVE THE SAME TACTICS RIGHT HERE AT HOME. THE LEFT, RIGHT, AND CENTER ARE SERVING THEIR OWN INTERESTS THE WAY THE COMMUNISTS SERVED THE INTERESTS OF THEIR PARTY MEMBERS. THE PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING.
