Everyone who leaves Rikers Correctional Facility can see, in blue and white, a sign that gives hope to the incarcerated and their loved ones.

The tears have been shed by the tens of thousands or more, but not enough hope has been dispensed by system. “VAPORS OF FAITH…Friday 11:15 P.M 133O AM RADIO www.RadioVision.net

The message of Radio Visión Cristiana Internacional reaches more than 26 million people around the world, but the sign outside Rikers should be outside every correctional facility in the United States and Puerto Rico. Retired Captain Alfonso Bonilla delivers a powerful message of faith and hope that has been shaped by years of success. His method is to saturate the facility of 2,400 inmates with tracks from the Bible. Only 31 were present in the gym where he gave his sermon, but by word of mouth and the distribution of the tracks, the whole facility will learn that Christ forgives and bring peace to everyone in that small city.

Pastor Matías Marcano, who has had his own pastoral ministry for almost three decades and who is a member of the Board of Radio Visión spoke about his experiences to the inmates and Profesor Martin spoke about the GED for the inmates and their loved ones. You can tune in, too, to Bonilla.
