Well before the White House Special Commission for the Educational Excellence of the Hispanic Community announced it wanted to partner with El Quijote del GED" and others, I was giving information about the GED to Organizing For America so that people at the grassroots level could be mobilized. Yes! I woke up Organizing For America months ago. I recently spoke about the GED crisis at City Hall for Bill Thompson and the people of New York in the mayoral campaign. There is a new program in New York that will be inaugurate in December and this program will provide the OPT or Official Practice Test to men and women in Harlem. The American people made a great investment in Barack Obama that resulted in his victory. The time has come for people to invest in themselves as well as the nation. Let us keep things in balance. I have been helping Organizing For America and I can help young adults and others with my GED program (English, Spanish, and French). If you do not need the GED, you probably have a friend or family member who needs to pass that exam and get a job or enter college. America's GED Hotline is waiting to provide this amazing help to people who are not in the classroom studying for the GED.
