TRAIL OF DREAMS IS BADLY NEEDED INTHE UNITED STATES

By Profesor Martin Danenberg "El Quijote del GED"

There was the "Trail of Tears" in our history and now there is the "Trail of Dreams" that brings advocacy and hope to immigrant children. These youth are on the right path because they are getting educated. There are two things wrong. One is that these youth have to advocate for all of the undocumented immigrants (not necessarily at the expense of their own hopes and dreams) and they have to make it clear to reporters like Laura Wides-Munoz that much of the great population has been deprived of advocacy and hope, even though millions of people are needed in important (and not medial) jobs. I would love to collaborate with the Florida Immigrant Coalition and with youth like Juan Rodriguez, president of the Miami-Dade College's InterAmerican Campus. I helped two deported students quickly earn the GED in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Those youth would have been an asset to this country and I am sure they are an asset, right now, to Argentina as they attend the university there and help their country. I am planning to go to the White House soon and I am close contact with the White House.

Martin Danenberg was the official educator of the government of El Salvador, appointed by former Vice-Minister Luis Montes-Brito (former consul general in Coral Gables, Florida), and who provided an educational initiative for consulates of El Salvador in the United States.

E PALANTE QUE VAMOS POR EDUCACION.

I THINK THAT THESE YOUTH AND ALL ADULTS HAVE BEEN LET DOWN FOR YEARS BY THE HISPANIC LEADERSHIP AND NOT JUST BY THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. THESE YOUTH HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO CONVINCE CONSERVATIVE THINKERS THAT THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO HELP AMERICA. YES LEGAL AND ILLEGAL STUDENTS CAN BE A CONVINCING FORCE FOR CHANGE. WE NEED A MILLION OR MORE NURSES IN THE THIS COUNTRY AND IF MILLIONS OF HISPANICS WOULD HAVE FINISHED THEY EDUCATION AND OBTAINED DIPLOMAS, WE COULD HAVE ASSURED OUR FUTURE INSTEAD OF WASTED OUR PAST, BRINGING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF HISPANIC MEN AND WOMEN INTO NURSING.
