WHAT IS THE DROPOUT RATE FROM PRIVATE CHARTER SCHOOLS?
By Profesor Martin Danenberg “El Quijote del GED”
I wonder if the Presidents of the United Federation of Teachers, the NEA, and other organizations, including elected officials and others know what the dropout rate is for private charter schools. Doesn’t the public have the right to know? All we seem to hear about is that test scores are better and charter schools are better. Now it could be that high school desertion from private charter schools is low or very low, but those numbers are never given to us when the public school system is attacked. We have no way to compare and we are used to comparing everything including french fries, baseball teams, cars, presidents of the United States, and pastors of the candidates. I want to know and I hope my readers want to know. What is the dropout rate from those private charter schools?
