Are Californians Being Fooled By Schwarzneggar?

There are 5.5 million adults who have not earned a high school diploma and the education department and the governor have failed the people. With a low percentage of people taking the GED test (0.5 percent and the lowest in the nation), California has very little to be proud about. Only Puerto Rico has a lower percentage in the nation and one of the problems there is people are required to pass the ESL test before the government will issue a diploma. Do you want four more years of this or do you want California to turn a very important corner and for the people to become more educated. It was recently reported that if Latinos and other minorities would become more educated, it would add $110 billion dollars to the economy of California. Yes the education of minorities is extremely important to the economy of California.
GED is really a very important issue to people in California, but few people know it. So the same problems continue. If your governor cannot aggressively attack the problems of poverty, gang violence, crime and repeated criminality, domestic violence, and a workforce that is becoming less and less qualified, what are you voting for? For decades the Los Angeles school system has been graduating less than forty percent of its Latino students and not aggressively providing GED help to all of those millions who have not finished school. Don’t you think it would be appropriate for people in government to sit down at the table (the governor and the mayors of cities) to hammer out a plan to change things? Or are you going to keep singing San Francisco, root for the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put out movies in Hollywood and not end the real problems that tax payers are upset about? Schwarzneggar must change or he must be changed. Also, hold all of your other elected officials accountable too.
