The El Garrafón Submarine
National Park is located on the southern tip of Isla Mujeres.

Manchones. Thanks to its crystal-clear waters, it is possible to
admire the marine fauna and corals that range from three to five
meters high. Around the island, there are several attractive
sites for diving, such as The Cross of the Bay, Los Cuevones,
Lavandera Reef and the Cave of the Sleeping Sharks. These reefs
are excellent both for beginner and advanced divers, since the
sea is calm and the water very clear.

Isla Mujeres Golf - A new golf resort is planned for Isla Mujeres, the
Playa Mujeres Resort is located just north of Cancun. Isla Mujeres will feature
36 holes of ecologically-friendly championship golf – designed by Greg Norman,
with carefully crafted water holes, hills, jungles, roughs, bunkers, greens and
other elements of the courses utilizing a re-arrangement of the site’s native
plants, trees and other indigenous foliage. Construction of the first 20 holes,
the practice range, and the clubhouse is in progress and scheduled to open fall 2005.
