Palapa Azul Brings Mexican Sorbets and Ice Creams
Palapa Azul knows its Mexican desserts. Founded by Mexican natives Roni Goldberg and Michel Algazi in 2002, the company became successful by developing its own line of peletas, or frozen fruit bars. After seeing the bars become an immediate hit in 2004, Goldberg and Algazi decided to launch two more product lines this June – ice creams, or “helados”, and sorbets, or “nieves”.
