New Home Purchase Upgrades
The Mortage Market Effect: Newhome buyers are being faced with a daunting number of choices, from color and type of carpet to molding designs and doorknobs. How do you decide, or can you afford it?
Builders recommend that buyers plan to pay about 10 percent of the purchase price for upgrades. If buyers are on a limited budget, they should focus on things that are difficult to change later. It’s easy to switch appliances but much harder to add a fireplace.
