Daddy Yankee Leads Reggaeton Superstars Shea Stadium

The ninth of June is the most heavily anticipated event on the music calendar for Latinos. It is the showcase event that will bring the top acts of a genre that have made the most significant splash on the shores of Hip-Hop. It’s not that Latin Hip-Hop has not always existed. It has taken many forms and for the past decade it has taken its current bankable form from a tiny island nation in the Caribbean, Puerto Rico and has become the hottest thing going for three years in the United States.
Leading the charge will be the franchise, Daddy Yankee who has a new single and album to unleash. He will bring his bat and power game along with a lineup of home-run hitters. It is quality up and down the list. Don Omar, who has shown off his singing skills in duets with Salsa superstar Victor Manuelle. They will both be performing that night.
The former duo and now powerful solo performers, Hector “El Father” and Tito “El Bambino” will show off their respective flows. Also the top duo in the genre Wisin and Yandel will also bring there spectacular show to the stage.
The unique 3-time Latin Grammy winners, Calle 13 will bring their unpredictable selves to play and Notch will bring his reggae background as well as other weaponry as he takes his place among the best.
The best thing about this event may very well be the surprises that are in store for those who attend. Univision’s La Kalle morning crew and DJ’s will be on board to host. Lisa Rodriquez and Laura Styles, Kassanova and Neko. This will be a certified A-event from the station who serves as the flagship of Reggaeton.
This is the premier event for Latinos in the United States. The location in Queens, NY is a hotbed of Latino culture and presence. It will be a one-night affair at Shea that will not soon be forgotten. 1-800-BEISBOL
