You may have seen some articles covering the destruction of print media, mainly newspapersr. Most pundits are quick to tell you that “it’s all moving online” and it very well may be doing so, but not by close of business tomorrow.

The question I address today is above, and I respectfully submit that the answer is an unequivocal “Yes.” The reason is simple: today, 54% more people choose the Internet over the newspaper to look for a home. For that reason alone, if you are not dividing your advertising dollars with at least a nod to this reality, you are throwing good money away.

beware of “programs” sold by otherwise savvy companies, like “linking programs” that are here one day and gone the next, after the company selling them realized 1) they don’t work; 2) they can get your site shut down. Building an Internet marketing program by linking is about as valid as relying on handbills to find your real estate prospects. Stick to products and services that can prove success and show you what they deliver.
