eBay Keyword Advertising System
eBay is going to unveil a new keyword advertising system for eBay sellers to promote auctions on other Web sites. eBay is borrowing the strategy from Google and Yahoo. The eBay system is a different pay-per-click advertising system as opposed to Google's and Yahoo. It links only to eBay auctions rather than serving as a generic advertising network.
Such advertising, in effect, becomes another means for Web site owners large and small to make money to support their sites, especially blog site publishers, who often rely on small text ads from Google's keyword system to finance themselves.
