Dictionary.com, a "Blog" is a personal Web site that provides updated headlines and news articles of other sites that are of interest to the user. Blogs also may include journal entries, commentaries and recommendations compiled by the user. Blog is short for Weblog.
Blogs can be used to communicate important updates and recent news about your business. You can also post information and news on other peoples' blogs that relate to your business category.
The April issue of 800response Report we asked if you use Blogs as a resource, or as a method of communicating news. Here is what you said:
- Only 6% responded that they blog at work
- Just 13% said they blog for fun
- 47% do not use or read blogs
- 34% replied that they do not know what blogging is
