Certainly, some "illegals" do fit this profile, but it's a small percentage of them. Most illegal immigrants, referred to by human rights activists and the politically sensitive as "undocumented," are hardworking family folks who left their own homelands, cultures and, often, other family members in order to seek out a less poverty-stricken future for themselves.

But neither the negative images nor the sympathetic ones answer the burning question of who really we are talking about....
